WELLINGTON CHAMPIONSHIPS The Wellington Provincial Athletic Championships were held on Saturday afternoon on Athletic Park, and at night on the Basin Reserve in perfect weather. The championship results were as follow ; Three Mile Walk.—W. Lankey 1, W. Tonkin 2, F. Silver 3. Time, 22min 2Ssec. Won by nearly two laps. Lankey also won the mile walk. Hammer Throw.—Ormond (107 ft llin) 1. 880 Yards.—R. Leech 1, C. Campbell 2, C. Allan 3. Time, Imin 58 4-ssec. 100 Yards.—C. Jenkins 1, J. Fleming 2, D. Paris 3. Won comfortably. Time, 10 3-ssec. One Mile Cycle Race.—J. Standee (New South Wales) 1. A. L. Osbourne 2, A. Horsfall 3, D. Gray (New South Wales) 4. Won by 10yds. Time, 2min 29'4-osec. Discus Throw.—P. Munro (132 ft Sin) 1. 150 Yards Ladies’ Championship.— Miss K. Millar 1. Time, 18sec. 120 Yards Hurdles.—R. Lander 1, F. S. Ramson 2, J. Holmwood 3. Time, 15 4-ssec. BSO Yards Cycle Race.—J.
