MR AMERY
EMPIRE TOUR CONCLUDED RETURN TO ENGLAND Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 12. (Received February 13, at 11.30 a.m.) A tcrrillic gale at Liverpool delayed Mr Amery’s landing from the Montchire, which should have arrived at midday yesterday, but was stormtossed outside and docked at 8 this morning. Mr Amcry declined to be interviewed, and said that he preferred to make a considered review of his Empire tour in the presence of the whole Press at the Dominion’s Office at noon on Monday. Ho admitted conversationally that the tour had been a tonic to one’s faith in the Empire, notably in Australia and New Zealand, where ho had a most delightful time, and was accorded tho proverbial hospitality.
