He explains that the comedian did not pretend to be the Prince, although his entry followed mention of the Prince’s name. [A previous message stated; The ‘ Daily Mail ’ says that the Lord Chamberlain ordered an inquiry, following complaints made against a revue staged in a Midland town, in which it was alleged that a comedian, appearing as the Prince of Wales, was grotesque in dress and deportment.
