RIFLE SHOOTING
DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB. The Dunedin Defence Eifle Club shot the Anal competition for prizes donated by Captain Proudfoot and Mr C. Speight on Saturday afternoon. Fifteen competed and fired ten shots each at 300yds and 600yds. Following are the highest scores and aggregates: —A Grade.—

KIWI CLUB. The above club fired the final series of No. 5 match on Saturday afternoon for prizes presented by the club. The weather was dull, with a strong roar wind, causing trouble with elevations. Rifleman W. Mills and Rifleman W. M'Keich, of A grade, both shot well urider prevailing conditions, and Rifleman A. J. Baker, of B grade, registered the highest score for the afternoon (So;. —A Grade.—
