The game was played in ram on a soft ground. WALES BEATS IRELAND. LONDON, February 4. At Belfast, in the presence of 30,000 people and on a heavy ground, the Wales Soccer team beat Ireland by 2 goals to 1. HOMEWARD BOUND. RUGBY, February 3. The New South Wales Rugby Footballers, who hove completed their tour in this country, left Teddington to-day to embark at Liverpool for Canada.
