BANTAM SHOW.
The Otago Game Fowl and Bantam Club held a bantam show in the club rooms last evening. The show was numerously attended during the evening by fanciers. Mr R. Crawshaw, who was judge, said he considered it a very fair show. The cocks and cockerels were very good; the hens and pullets, which revealed scanty lobes, only fair. There were 19 entries in all. Mr Binnie's special prize for the best bird in the show was won by T. Brown, and Mr T. Leedham's special prize for best bird of opposite sex went to L. A. Sprosen. The following are the results: Black rosecomb cock.—Omand and Day 1 and 2, T. Brown 3. Three entries. Black rosecomb cockerel.—T. Broad 1; A. Broad 2. Two entries. Black rosecomb hen.—W. Breen 1, Omand and Day 2, F. Robinson 3. Six entries. Black rosecomb pullet.—L. A. Sprosen 1 and 3, T. Brown 2. Eight entries.
