Auckland, Septembers. A woman named Taylor, of dissipated habits, dropped down dead suddenly after breakfast this morning. Death is supposed to have resulted from the effects of intemperance.
Reefton, September 6. The Golden Fleece Company have declared a dividend. They have got 1,418 ounces gold from 589 tons quartz. The Hopeful Mine got 927 ounces from 15 tons. Mining property on the Inangahua has advanced in value.
