Final Examination.—Edward Thos. VTivg, for whom Mr E. Cook appeared, applied for his'final discbarge. After bankrupt had satisfactorily answered a few questions pat by his Houor relative to when his debts were contracted, &c.,his discharge was granted, as there was nothing against him in the report of the trustee.
Kcßichaed Stratford.—There was no appearance of bankrupt or trustee, and his Honor adjourned the hearing of the case for one week, when, if there is no appearance, the ease will be struck out.: " ■
Re Edward C. George.—Mr Joyce appeared for bankrupt, and Mr M'Keay for the trustee. '~ Mr Joyce asked that his Honor would adjourn the case. for two months, in order to admit of some arrangement being come to with bankrupt. The adjournment was granted. ;."■;. i( : Ee Alex. Sottttkr.—Bankrupt was'examined by Mr.Brent* who appeared for the trustee, from which.examination, it appeared that bankrupt, at the time of hii insolvency, Was a farmer, which occupation he resorted toi'befiig finable to follow his trade of a,'blacksmith from 111-health;, He iuefl a declaration of insolvency on th 11th of ; Novenfber, 1875. Hisfaiher had advanced' him money to carry oh the farming, and. other loans had been received. About three weeks previous to bankiupt firing a declaration of insolvency he • sold his farm horses and implements, paying bis father out of .the proceeds.—Mr Cook apjpeared fpx.tbe. bankrnpt.-r-Mr Brent applied for ail issue of "the order under section 146r of- tire Act of 1876,- contending . that the bankrupt had . brought* .himself within the operation of other sections, and therefore should nqt obtain his discharged—His Honor granted, the order'under the 145 th section, and suspended the'- bankrupt's discharge for twelve months. r '■ >
Be B. P. Stohr.—Mr E. Cook, on behalf of! Mr Stamper, jun., applied for costs of a motion &> expunge Stamper's proof of, debt in Stohr's estate. —His Honor said M* Cook had butter make substantive application to the other side, and he (his Honor) would takothe matter in Chambers. ■. '"'
