TAKE A CARD.
To the Editor.
Sir, —A friend of mine picked up yesterday a card having the following upon one side of it, the words in italics being printed. The real names are suppressed. “Dear child, G H , please call upon A B ; address , Shipping Office. Reasons —Confess your. love. Yours faithfully, C. D. E. Matt. 25, 31 to 40.” “A. B.” is a well known merchant, and the Rev. “ C. D. E.” is an equally well known Minister. Can any of your numerous readers explain? —I am, &c., Dunedin, June 28. Lexicps.
