To the Editor. Sir, —-I venture to draw the attention of the (Divio authorities to the result of impor tant experiments with a new fire extinguisher. (See page 400 of “Public Opinion” of 1 0 25th March, 1876). Also, to a new kind of tramway car lately placed upon the line of the North Metropolitan Tramway Company, between Moorgate and the Green Lanes. (See same page of newspaper as above). . But better still. As to how to dispose ol our sewage, by manufacturing from it a brilliant gas at a cost of less than la foi 1,000 ft., and more compatible with good health than any other gas* (See ‘Public Opinion,’ page 368, 1873-76.—1 am, tc..
