To the Editor. Sir, —I fell into a mistake in saying that Mr Robert Gillies, agent for Mr Cutten, had atthority to hand in the resignation of that Ctleman as a member of the Council ©f University. I am glad, however, to learn from bur Gillies that there is every prospect of the speedy return of Mr Cutten te Otago.—l am, Ac., _ .. , D. M. Stuart. Dunedin, June 7.
