In to-day’s ‘Provincial Gazette’ appear the following important notification : —That 3,002 acres of land on run 178, Beaumont, 600 acres on run 308 B, Strath Taieri, have been set apart for agricultural leasing; that 200 acres on run 308 B are open for sale j that 3,600 acres in the Kyeburn Hundred and 1,000 acres in the Oteramika Hundred have been thrown open for occupation on deferred payments. There is also published a proclamation making regulations for the depasturage of stock upon certain Crown lands within goldfields. The effect of this proclamation is to reinstate the lessees of runs 170, 48, 199, 369, and 247 in the position they occupied as pastoral tenants before portions of their leases were cancelled.
