Sir, —Not having seen or heard of “Aquatic’s’’ letter until late this morning, I have only time now to say that I shall be glad to explain to him (or anybody else) the cause of the delay which has taken place in the distribution of the prizes for swimming, when, no doubt, he will hasten to withdraw his insinuations with as equal publicity and good taste as he has shown in making them.—l am, &., Alfred R, Sims. • Dunedin, April 29.
