BLUESKIN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
The Presbytery of Dunedin met' yesterday at Blueskin to ordain and induct the Bev.Mr Finlay* son. There were present the Bevs. Wm. John* stone, J. Gow, L. tfaclde, A. Blake, and J. If. Uussell. The ordination service was conducted by Mr Bussell, who preached from Acts xvi„ and put the usual ' questions. Mr Finlajfcon was then ordained by the Presbytery, * and addressed by Mr Maokie. The rongregation was addressed by Mr Kirkland.. A soiree was held iin the church 1 * in the everting, Mr Finlayson in.the chair. Bev. Mr Johnstone, of Fort Chalmers, was requested to present the newly-ordained pastor with a pulpit Bible and Psalm Book provided oy the congregation. Mr Finlayson replied in appropriate terms thanking them for their gin. Addresses were delivered by Bevs.- J. Kkklahd,L. Maokie, A. Blake, and J. Christie. The choir sang severqj nieces with effect; and after the usual votes of thanks the benediction was pronounced, and an agreeable meeting brought to a dose.
