DUNEDIN PRESBYTERY.
The Dunedin Presbytery met in the First Church to-day, nearlv all the members being present. •. letter implying a charge ot here-y against a resident at Fo tobello was read, and consideration deferred. The question of grants for church buildings was discussed. Dr. Stuart remarked that there had been some meetings with a view of building another Church in Dunedin. Pre mixing tations were required at Baveusbourne. :>t. r- ilda, the North-Cast Valley, and other suburban districts, and a committee was now arranging to have the gospel preached in those places either by officers from the different Churches or by missionaries. --Toe Dev. Mr Mackle believed that ministers and office-1 learm.-. in _ the City were fully alive to the requirements of those districts.—Dr Stuart stated that one church in the town would have additional accommodation for 600 in ihe course of a few month-!. It was the general feeling feeling that another church was desirable, bus tixe present moment was riot an opportune one, -sumo minor matters cropped up, after disposing of which the Pre bytery adjourned until 0.30 to-morrow mining.
