FATAL ACCIDENT.

As Iveson’s West Taieri coach was proceeding out to the Plain .yesterday afternoon the leaders bolted when descending Saddle Hill, and despite the efforts of the driver (William Donaldson) to check them, the coach capsized near Purvis’s hotel. A Chinaman named Ah Chung was thrown’on to a heap of metal, and received such injuries as to cause his death shortly after his removal to Purvis’s, but none of the other passengers were seriously hurt. An inquest on Ah Ching’s body was to have been held this afternoon.
