YOUNG BOYS’ POCKET MONEY.
To the Editor. Ftr, —Having read “Sufferer’s” letter in your issue of the Bth inst., I was greatly interested at the generous views he has in connection with allowing hoys to have pocketmoney to the extent of at least 5s per week. Perhaps if “Fufferer” had two or three hoys working, who only brought him in fis or 7s a week each, he would not entertain such generous views as he does at present. For mv part 1 think it is a great mistake to allow hoys to have so much pocket-money. Suppose you allow them, say o> a week then you. will very soon find that they will require a great deal more than they will be at all likely to receive from their parents. Trusting that you will kindly insert the above. -1 am, be , Eillag. Dunedin, December 10.
Eillag,
