NO MANNERS.
To the Editor. Sir,— l do net know what weight ought to be attached to the letter of your correspondent ‘ Un Qui Rit ’ in other respects, but his rude remarks on Government teachers, on Dunedin “ brats,” and on Scotch people generally, show that at aoy rate his opinions on the subject of “ manners ” are of no great value. Notwithstanding bis setting himself up as an authority on this matter, it is pretty evident either that the proverbial ’‘twopence a-week” has never been paid for him, or that he has made little or no progress in that branch of education. I am, 'C., . Matilda Jane. Dunedin, September 22.
