THE DUST CART.

To the Editor. —Will you kindly allow me space to make known to those who have the power to alter it, the great uuisir.ee cased by either the neglect of the man driving the dust-cart or the want of system in giving him bis orders. 1 have had two large cans of rubbish outside by private gate in the principal part of Cumberland street from Thursday to Sunday mrrniug, when L was obliged to take them back again. I would suggest that, if the dmt cart cannot attend to call street daily, fixed days be arranged and advertised, so that people would know when to prepare, and not have boxes, pans, &c , out on the pavement night and day for passersby to break their legs over, —L am, &c., _ Ratepayer.
