A QUERY.
To (he Editor. Sir, —Will you tell me through the medium of your paper if there is any justice in the Colonies for a poor man who for twenty years has' paid business license and held a miner’s right all the time ?—I am, &c., _ Angus Hay. Dunedin, May 15. [To the plain question put by Mr Hay, whoever he may be, we reply equally plainly m tile affirmative. If h.e think otherwise and has a grievance, he 'must take it to the proper quarter for redress, and not trouble us with it.— Ed. E.S.]
