A CORRECTION.

Sir, —Allow me to correct an error that no doubt inadvertently appeared in your issue of last evening. The revenue of the Australian Mutual Provident Society for the past year is reported as amounting to L 51,667 ; whereas it should .be L 316,667. The addition of a simple figure makes a rather important alteration,—lam, 4c., Edmund Smith, Agent Australian Mutual Provident Society. Dunedin, May 15.
