REGISTRATION.
To the Editor.
Sir, —Upon looking over the electoral roll, in connection with the present election, I am astonished to find the number of names which ought to be on the roll and are not. I presume it arises from the carelessness of the persons interested. A great many parties are careless of their electoral privileges until an election takes place, when they find they are precluded from exercising them, in consequence of their names not being on the roll. My object in penning this letter is to remind all persons so situated that they have an opportunity of registering their names up to the 31st inst., and in order to facilitate their doing so, I will have, from Tuesday next to the 31st inst., registration forms at my committee rooms, Princes street, next Ship Inn, and my secretary, MrJJ. B. M'Culloch, will be in attendance each day, between twelve and one o’clock, to fill up forms for all desirous of being enrolled. —I am, £c., H. S, Fish, jun. Dunedin, March 22.
