Sir,— When I penned the note published in last evening’s Star, I had not seen the fuller report of Dr Dunn’s review of my sermon, as supplied by your paper. From the Doctor’s style of handling the subject, as reported by you, 1 am convinced that the interests of truth demand that the disputants in this matter should come to close quarters. 1 therefore accept Dr Dunn’s challenge, as reiterated by him on Sabbath evening, and am prepared to discuss publicly with him my segmon, paragraph by paragraph, on any evening that may be arranged for by his committee and myself.—Yours, he , Alexander Reid,
