THE VOLUNTEERS.
The North Dunedin Company fired off this morning at their own range, for choice of a second team, under the following conditions : -Ranges, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards; standing at 200, knee’ing at 300, and any position at 400 and 500 ; five shots at each range. The weather was cold and showery, but moderately calm. (Subjoined are the scores of the ten highest:—
The fourth competition for the Cup presented by the officers, will take place at 5 a.m. and 4 p.m. to-morrow (Tuesday).
