’Tis the old story : as soon as the Interprovincial team is chosen, all interest in cricket on the part of Dunedin players is gone. Two matches were announced for Saturday, one of which wont off completely. ihe, excuse being that the members, of the Dunedin Club went to see the Otago team off ; the other, that was played between the second elevens of the Citizens and Albions, does not deserve to be designated a match, for one side was almost entirely made up oi substitutes ; and the play a together, on the Albion’s side particularly, was very indifferent. A finer day for cricket could not have been desired, and it is to be regretted that a better turn-out was n«t made. The scores in the Albion v. Citizens were
