MAYOR'S COURT.
This Day. (Before His Worship the Mayor and J. Brown, Esq,, J.P.) NEGLECTED CHILD, Charlotte Easton, a little girl aged nine years, and who has served her time of detention in the Industrial School, was ordered to be sent there again for five years and to lie brought up in the Church of England form of religion. DYE-LAW CASES. Edward Harris, for riding his horse on the footpath, was fined 10s and costs.—Robert Brown was summoned for neglecting to clean his premises. The case was adjourned for fourteen days, to allow the nuisance to be abated.—John Fletcher and Mrs Aitkenhead were each fined ss, for allowing three cows to wander.
