CAVERSHAM TUNNEL.
To the Editor. Sir, —Curiosity led me to inspect that work this day, of which I am proud to admit that the attention paid to it in your columns yesterday was in every sense well merited, for the meet is beyond comparison ; but permit me to be allowed to infer that the Mackenzie Brothers, who are the sub-con-tractors, have claims to credit for its practical execution, which has been done in a most masterly and workmanlike manner.—l am, &c,, Wm. P. Pearce, Contractor. September 27, 1872.
