THE VOLUNTEERS.

The Scottish Company had another competition for its challenge belt, at the Anderson’s Bay range, on Wednesday. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yards ; five shots at each range; Hythe position at the first range ; any position at the others. There was a strong wind blowing when the men were at the last range, which accounts for the small scores made there. Volunteer A. R. Spalding was the highest scorer, and hold the belt until the next competition. We subjoin the names of tho fire highest scorers:—
