RESIDENT MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
Tms Day(Before A. C. Strode, Esq,, 8.M.) Civil Cases. Auld v. Flexmau.—On the application of Mr Shapter, who appeared for the defend* ant, this case was adjourned till Thursday next, the costs of plaintiff’s solicitor bring allowed. There being no appearance of the defendants in any of the following cases, judgment went by default for the amount claimed in each, together with costs :—Williams v. Lancaster, L 7 4s, for livery, &c.; Dowse v. Alexander M'lntyre, Ll4 2s Gd. goods subplied ; Joel v. T. Holland, L 1 0; Harris v, W. T, M. Dugdale, LI Cs ; Cameron and others v. Bruce and others (trustees of the B ighton Bed Board), L 5 ss; Bussell v. W. Hilton, LlB Is. Wilson and Maddox v. Cameron —Mr Sanders for defendant. There being no appearance of plaintiffs, the case was dismissal, Air Sanders’s costs being allowed. Levy v. Cohen.—Judgment for the defendant.
