The defendant in evidence denied having consented to give a commission to the plaintiff, although he acknowledged having given no answer when spoke to on the subject. Judgment for the defendant, ■ Solomon v. Esq '.ilant.—L4 12s 3d for rent of premises in George street, and goods supplied. J udgment by'default for the plaintiff, for the amount with,' Costs. Hart v. Mackenzie.—L3 11s 9d for work and labor dond. 1-2 8s 8d was paid into Court. The defendant pleaded that the rate of wages was overcharged Is a-day and a act off. The set off not haying been regularly served oh the plaintiff it was not allowed. Judgmeut for the plaintiff for tho amount with costs.

Fincher v. Leonard.—Ll 10s The defendant objected to pay on account of tho quality of the goods not being equal to sample. Judgment for the plaintiff for tho amount claimed.
