This Day. (Before D. Rolfe, Esq , and Capt Thomson, J.P.’s.) DRUNKENNESS. Henry Gloss, charged with this offence, was lined 5s and costs. absent from duty. John Morrison was charged with absenting himself without leave, he being an articled seaman on board the American ship Archer. The police having received information from the captain of the above-named ship, arrested the prisoner, who had served during the voyage in the capacity of steward. Prosecutor not appearing, Morrison was liberated. MINOR OFFENCE. John Cunningham was fined 10s and costs for assaulting Robert Bolton. Civil Case. Frazer v. Rodgers. Claim L2 ss, for work and labor done. Judgment for plaintiff, 11s and costs.
