THEFT. A charge of stealing a fishbaskct preferred against James Hayes was dismissed. OFFENCES AGAINST THE BYE-LAWS. J. E. Attwood and George Wright were fined 2s 6d and costs for riding across the footpath in Serpentine avenue, William ITaliigap for allowing' a cow to wander was lined 2s Gd apj cpsts, and John M‘Kay for allowing ahorse to depasture on the Town Belt was fined 10s and costs. 1
