Political. —We learn from the Auckland papers that Mr Williamson, the late Superintendent of Auckland, is spoken of as the new Postmaster-General. Mr Williatpson’s long experience of public life and business capacities, would render him a very fitting man for the office, and there is no doubt his appointment would give general satisfaction, —Evening Post.
