MAYOR’S COURT.

This Day. (Before T. Birch, Esq., R.M.) drunk and disorderly. Ann Sherry, an old offender, was fined 40s, or seven days’ imprisonment, for this offence. James Arroll was charged with being drunk. As it was a first offence, he was dismissed with a caution. Mary Jarvey, for a similar offence, was fined 20s, or 48 hours’ imprisonment. lunacy, Michael Motherless was charged with being of unsound mind, and dangerous to be at large. The apprehending constable stated that, at the time he arrested the prisoner at Caversham, he was lighting fires in close proximity to buildings. Remanded for medical examination.
