LONDON, Sept. 3,

British and American air forces carried out a new terror raid against Paris, says Paris radio. For the first time the centre of the capital was hit, particularly the districts on the left bank of the Seine. The damage and casualties are believed to have been heavy.

Rome radio states that a large number of incendiaries and high-explosive bombs were dropped on the western residential districts and caused many casualties.-
