CHILEAN CABINET RESIGNS
. NEW YORK, September 1. The Chilean Cabinet has resigned in order to allow President Rios to reorganise the Government. The United Press of America says that the reshuffle will permit the entry of three Liberals into the Government, which instead of the present purely technical administration is likely to be a Liberal-Radical political Cabinet.

Despite the German ban on assemblies, thousands of Danes lined the streets yesterday and cheered : their Majesties as they drove under a German guard through the streets of a Copenhagen suburb. The King stopped the car and said: "I am happy to hear that the Danish language is still spoken. My country will keep on with that." The German news agency announced that in view of the calm attitude of the Danish population the curfew in Copenhagen has been relaxed to the period from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Restaurants, theatres, and cinemas are permitted to remain open until 10 p.m. Previously the curfew started at sundown.
