PONEKE V. PETONE
I'oneke and Petono had an interesting game at Prince of Wales Park. It was PoneKe's first win in this season's competition, the score being 8 points to 6. Both Poneke'B tries Were full of merit. Some of the pausing runs by the Petone backs were Well done, and McGurK's try Was an excellent effort. The best niove of the day was Jacobsen's very fine opening which enabled Milne to rim from the 28yd line and score. For Poneke Milne scored two tries, one being converted by Calclnai, and Mcdtirk and Gale scored unconverted tries for Petone. > Mr. E. G. Mildenhall was referee.
