PRODUCE AT PALMERSTON.

The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, conducted a very buoyant sale of pigs and poultry at the usual weekly fair on Thursday. Pigs were in exceptionally good demand, weaners realising up to 18s 6d, stores to 30s, and young porkers to 445. Poultry also sold well. Black Orpington hens realising 4s with a correspondingly good demand for other lines. Fruit was in. short supply, resulting in higher prices being realised. Exceptionally heavy Supplies of vegetables came forward, a considerable reduction in price being noted.
