INVERCARGILL, January 4. ' The concluding day of the Southland Racing Club's Summer Meeting was held in perfect racing weather. The track was in fast order and the attendance was big. The totalisator handled £19,168 10s. compared with £17,170 10s on the same day last year. The total for the meeting was £40,882 10s, compared with £39.333 last year, an increase of £1549 10s.
