DELMESTOR'S GOOD FORM
Delmestor, who won the Carrington Stakes, 6 furlongs, at Tattersall's Meeting last Saturday, beating the wellfancied Early Bird, has recently been building up a splendid record for herself over short courses. Following three successive: seconds, she has now won four out of her five last starts, her failure.being in the Villiers Stakes at Randwick, where she found the mile under top weight too far for her. Owned and trained by^ K. Stuart, Delmestor is a four-year-old by Polymestor (son of Polymelus) from Deltis, by Wallace Isinglass from Courtesy, by Paddlngton from Felicia. She is not what could be termed a big marfe, but slie has- shown fhafe she can carry weight, and on Saturday she had'second top impost, 8.13, in the large field.
