RIGHT ARM LOST

When he was involved in a collision at a bend in the Buller Gorge, Peter Brooky, a cabinetmaker, of Newtown, Wellington, a single man, aged 24, suf : fered severe injuries to the right arm, reports a Reef ton message. He was admitted to the Inangahua Hospital at Reefton, and it' was found necessary' to amputate his right arm at the shoulder.
Brooky was travelling to Westport on a motor-cycle, and was involved in la collision with a car, the door handle or which struck him on the arm.
His condition is stated to be satisfactory.
