YOUTH'S OFFENCES
Frank Albert Choldcroft, a labourer and driver, aged 20, admitted in the Magistrate's Court today, before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., breaking and entering on November 22 by day the dwellinghouse of Anne Brownhill in Melrose, with intent to commit a crime, and, on November 25, attempting to break and enter the office of the Wellington Dry Cleaning Company, in Leeds Street, with intent to commit a crime. After evidence had been taken Choldcroft was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence. It was stated that another person, referred to in a statement taken from the accused as having been associated with him in the commission of the offences was, on account of his age, not eligible to be dealt with in that Court.
