CHANGE OF NAME?
"TAWA FLAT" TO "TAWA"
A proposal, put forward at the last meeting of the Tawa Flat Progressive and Ratepayers' Association, that the name of the district be changed to "Tawa," aroused intense discussion, but it was felt at the time that, owing to the importance of the contemplated change and all the factors involved, it would be best to place the motion on the agenda for the next meeting, and that in the meantime publicity be given to the suggestion so that fully representative opinion might be given on the matter. ,
