MAIDSTONE PARK

PURCHASE BY SPECIAL

ORDER

The Upper Hutt Borough Council decided at a special meeting to acquire Maidstone Park from the owner, Mr... P. Davis, by special order. No poll will therefore be necessary. The price of the park has been reduced to £6000, and Mr. Davis has agreed to accept debentures for a thirty-year term for the purchase price. The annual payment by the council will be £324, or £16 less than the present annual payment of rent.
