FOUR PEOPLE IN A CAR

(Special to the "Evening Post.")

PALMERSTON N., This Day,

A car driven by Mr. K. McDonald, of Pongaroa, and containing three passengers, went off the road on a sharp bend about a mile on the Pongaroa side of the Puketoi Range and rolled 150 feet down the hillside.

One of the passengers was thrown out of the car at the top of the bank, the other two and the driver remaining in the vehicle as it somersaulted two or three times before reaching the bottom of the hill.

- Beyond cuts and bruises none of the occupants was injured.
