I Two lower grade championship cricket mat'ehes were played under the control of the Wellington Cricket Asso* ciation on the Wellington College ground on Saturday. JUNIOR A. Wellington College, 175 (Clarke 41, Bedingfield 29, Vause 22, Shallcrass 22) and 30 for one wicket, met Brooklyn, 97. Bowling for Brooklyn, Millar took four for 62 and Hamil four for 40; for College Ibbotson took six for 32. JUNIOR 82. Hutt, 199 (Neazor 50, McClure 38), met Wellington College, 79 (Griffin 26). Bowling for College, Griffin took five for 50; for Hutt, McClure took eight for 30 and Hunt two for 40.
