The Wellington Cricket Association junior team beat the Mercantile League juniors by 35 runs on the first innings at Athletic Park.
The scores were:—
Mercantile League, 69 (Howard 29, Sara 14, Barrett 10; Fortune one for 24, Searell four for 29, Parker two for 11, Rabone three for 3). Wellington Association, 104 (Alexander 24, Dentice 10, Dv Feu 16, Coupland 16, Rabone 13; Robinson three for 24, Barrett four for 27, Pauling three for 27).
