OBITUARY

MRS. E. J. GIBSON

(Special to me "Eveninn r-ost")

LEVIN, This Day,

The death has occurred at Levin of Mrs. E. J. Gibson. Born in Dunedin in the days of the Otago gold rush the deceased lady was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Kelly. In 1891 she married Mr. J. W. Gibson in Wellington. In 1900 residence was taken up in Levin, where they resided continuously. Mrs. Gibson took a very active interest in the Women's Christian Temperance Union: The deceased lady is survived by her husband, two sisters, and two brothers. There were no children of the marriage. The funeral took place at the Levin Cemetery.
