WORK AMONG BOYS
LADIES' AUXILIARY V.M.C.A.
The final meeting for the year of the ladies' auxiliary of the V.M.C.A. Boys' Division was held recently with a record attendance. Mrs. H. Brooker presided. The treasurer reported on the previous month's activities and general satisfaction was expressed, especially at the results of the jumble sale being so good. It was decided to arrange a welcome to Mrs. Briggs, wife of the new boys' work secretary, this function to take place in the Boys' Division rooms of the V.M.C.A.
Mr. Briggs (boys' work secretary) gave details of the forthcoming boys' camp at Otaki. It was desired, he said, to make this year's camp a record one from various points of view.
During afternoon tea the members partook of a delicious Christmas cake given by the president. Hostesses for the occasion were Mesdames Broughton, Denby, Aynsley, and Bridges.
