GOERING'S PICTURE

A HOUSEHOLD "NECESSITY"

(Received December 2, 2.30 p.m.)

1 LONDON, December 1

The Berlin correspondent of "The Times" says that bailiffs are prohibited from seizing pictures of General Goering because a Neu Brandenburg Court has ruled that they are necessary to the spiritual development of every modest German household. The decision was the outcome of a case in which a creditor sought to seize ah oil painting of General Goering, owned by a father of seven children.
